"A Piece of Time" transforms a specific moment in Bitcoin's history into a physical artifact.

Each sculpture is built around a Bitcoin block personally selected by its owner. The chosen block height is engraved into the work and becomes a permanent anchor to a unique moment in the Timechain — whether it marks a first bitcoin purchase, the birth of a child, a life-changing event, or any other meaningful moment forever recorded in Bitcoin's history.

The piece combines wood, concrete, melted fiat coins and 24k gold. Together, these materials symbolize Bitcoin's emergence from the legacy monetary system and its transformation into a new form of value built on transparency, scarcity and time.

Rather than representing Bitcoin as technology, "A Piece of Time" explores Bitcoin as memory, history and time itself — made tangible.

Each material carries symbolic meaning. Concrete represents the foundation upon which Bitcoin was built. Melted fiat coins reference the transformation of legacy monetary systems into something new. Gold reflects scarcity, value and humanity's long history of sound money. Wood introduces warmth, growth and the organic nature of living systems — a reminder that Bitcoin, while rooted in mathematics and code, continues to grow naturally through the voluntary actions of millions of individuals around the world.

Artist Bio:
₿art is a German artist and long-time Bitcoiner whose work explores the relationship between time, value and freedom.

Through sculpture, he transforms abstract concepts of the Bitcoin network into tangible physical forms. His works combine traditional craftsmanship with symbolic materials such as concrete, wood, gold and recycled fiat coins, creating artifacts that invite viewers to reflect on Bitcoin beyond price, speculation and technology.

His sculptures have been exhibited at Bitcoin conferences and are held in private collections internationally.
