3.125: Halvening Face by TNT + HIERONYMUS by Hieronymus

I manifested this live painting in collaboration between myself and TNT, who is one of El Salvador's most prominent muralist and graffiti artist. TNT painted two murals on top of the new National Library of El Salvador and has a fantastic uTube channel covering art and life in ES. 

We collaborated on this work live at the Bitcoin Halving Party in April 5, 2024 at the Royal Decameron Salinitas in Acajutla, Sonsonate, El Salvador. 

This work is the result of many things coming together matched with great effort forcing this work into existence. The art lightly touches on a halving moment in Bitcoins history represented with a halving of a Face by two artists, a unique ₿ is tagged through out the work and a 3.125 block reward stencil repeated.  

*This work is important to myself as it represents much of the ethos of what I’ve seen in Bitcoin: taking initiative, taking custody over self without the need for permission, being open to a world with borders but is not borderless and thus universal in ways that one can tap into and create with. 

Street art (which naturally shares this ethos) connected myself with the artist TNT but bitcoin is the opportunity that made the link to manifest the art.
