Manifesto2140 v.3 - FreeAssangeNow By Mad Munky
This thought-provoking artwork highlights the injustice of Julian Assange's imprisonment.
This thought-provoking artwork highlights the injustice of Julian Assange's imprisonment.
Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, exposed corruption by releasing classified documents. Yet he has been held in a British prison for years without charge, separated from his family. The artwork reminds viewers that what happened to Assange could happen to any of us. When governments can silence and imprison people without due process, freedom and democracy are under threat.
The bold text urges people to speak out against Assange's unjust detention before it's too late. His case sets a dangerous precedent. If we don't stand up for justice now, we risk losing hard-won civil liberties. The artwork calls on all of us to reflect on the importance of transparency, accountability, and human rights.
