FREE ROSS No.8 By Flo Montoya
Dedicated to supporting Ross Ulbricht's cause, this artwork is inspired by his story and the injustice of his sentence. From the sale of these prints, 90% of the proceeds will go to the Foundation.
It has been over a decade already.
5 shades of color were used to create this series of screen prints, in which you can read the address you can use to donate bitcoin to FreeRoss.org.
Inspired by Ross Ulbricht's story and his absolutely unfair, insane sentence, this artwork seeks to contribute to his cause.
In this regard 90% of the proceeds collected from the sale of these prints will go to the Foundation. Ross, an entrepreneur passionate about free markets and privacy, is serving 2 life sentences + 40 years in prison for creating an anonymous e-commerce website called Silk Road. Related case sentences, including the actual drug sellers, the men who helped run Silk Road, and the men behind Silk Road 2.0 -a larger replica- received an average prison sentence of six years. For me, Ross's disproportionate sentence seems to be held as a political statement: challenging the state will not be tolerated.
